ZB is the best free non downloadable host. It has limits though. I say download and go with SMF or phpBB3.

I say PhpBB3 or MyBB, but the downloadable software are all good. If you stick with downloadable, it's your choice. And if you do switch to downloadable, I can always host you a site with the URL of 'http://yoursite.mythirion.co.cc/' AND I can get you a co.cc domain name with Name Server forwarding.
